We take classes at every opportunity to increase our expertise in real estate areas. Our designations include:
1. CRB - The Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®, and the premier industry organization for brokers, owners and managers. For 40 years, the Council has helped real estate professionals adapt to the complex challenges of delivering quality service, streamlining operations, integrating new technology and innovating business strategies. The CRB Designation is one of the oldest and most respected in the industry.
2. CRS - Certified Residential Specialist. This is a prestigious designation awarded to fewer than 5% of all real estate agents. To achieve this designation, one must prove consistent production in real estate listings and sales, take a number of courses in various aspects of real estate investments and marketing, and pass a number of tests to prove competence in the field.
3. GRI - Graduate Realtor Institute. To acheive this designation, a REALTOR must attend 3 30 or 45 hour hour classes covering topics such as International Real Estate, Investments, Marketing, Contracts and real estate law. Each course must be passed with at least a 70% average in a comprehensive test.
4. SRES - Seniors Real Estate Specialist - The REALTOR must learn about and pass a comprehensive test on aspects pertaining to the specific real estate needs of the senior adult in the community.
5. AHWD - At Home With Diversity® was the first step in a process NAR began in 1998 to enhance the association's comprehensive diversity initiative to better accomplish its goals. Specifically, the training enhances the ability those involved in the real estate transaction to develop clients and customers in the growing immigrant and minority population.
